The Borough of Surf City’s governing body regular meeting is scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 813 Long Beach Boulevard, Surf City, NJ. Minutes are posted to the website after they are approved which is typically 45 days after the meeting.

  • BOND ORDINANCE 2025-01 – Authorizes spending for drainage and road improvement projects under the ARPA grant.
  • BOND ORDINANCE 2025-02 – Authorizes spending for the NJDOT Road Projects.
  • BOND ORDINANCE 2025-03 – Authorizes the spending for various water and sewer improvements.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-04 – This ordinance removes the term certificate of occupancy as required by the NJDCA.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-05 – This ordinance authorizes a 3.5% increase in the budget for said year, amounting to $256,984.98 over the increase in final appropriations.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-06 – This ordinance increases beach badge fees.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-07 – This ordinance allows amplified music and/or sound for special events hosted by bona fie non-profit groups by resolution of the Governing Body.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-08 – This ordinance authorizes the funding for a police vehicle.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-09 – This ordinance revises the Length of Service Award Program.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-10 – This ordinance revises the zoning for driveways on Long Beach Boulevard.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-11 – This ordinance revises certain sections of the personnel manual.
  • ORDINANCE 2025-12 – This ordinance increases water & sewer fees.
