The Borough of Surf City’s governing body regular meeting is scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 813 Long Beach Boulevard, Surf City, NJ. Minutes are posted to the website after they are approved which is typically 45 days after the meeting.
An additional meeting of the Borough Council has been scheduled for January 29, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 813 Long Beach Boulevard. This meeting addresses a technical matter related to the new Affordable Housing Legislation. Action will be taken.
2025 ORDINANCES
- BOND ORDINANCE 2025-01 – Authorizes spending for drainage and road improvement projects under the ARPA grant.
- BOND ORDINANCE 2025-02 – Authorizes spending for the NJDOT Road Projects.
- BOND ORDINANCE 2025-03 – Authorizes the spending for various water and sewer improvements.
- ORDINANCE 2025-04 – This ordinance removes the term certificate of occupancy as required by the NJDCA.
- ORDINANCE 2025-05 – This ordinance authorizes a 3.5% increase in the budget for said year, amounting to $256,984.98 over the increase in final appropriations.
