Council Meeting Documents

Minutes are posted to the website after they have been approved by Council, approximately 45 days following the meeting. The Governing Body regular meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm at 813 Long Beach Boulevard in the Council Chambers. The regular and reorganization meeting takes place the first week of January each year, as required by law.

Ordinances

The 2023 Ordinances have been sent for codification. Full copies are available in the office of the Municipal Clerk.

2024-01 Bond Ordinance

This ordinance authorizes spending for a new ambulance.

2024-02 Bond Ordinance

This ordinance authorizes spending for road reconstruction.

2024-03 Noise Ordinance

Permitting Council to amend noise in the business zone for businesses.

2024-04 Bond Ordinance

This ordinance authorizes spending for a new lifeguard truck.

2024-05 COLA Ordinance

Authorizes a 3.5 % increase in the budget for said year, amounting to $249,900.00 over the increase in final appropriations otherwise permitted by the Local Government Cap Law.

2024-06 Flood Controls

This ordinance determines whether the proposed work constitutes substantial improvement or repair of substantial damage.

2024-07 Outdoor Dining

This ordinance removes the 24 seat cap on the existing outdoor dining ordinance for restaurants.

2024-08 Resale Certificates

This ordinance removes the term certificate of occupancy and replaces it with the term resale certificate.

2024-09 Pickleball Provisions

This ordinances provides for the new pickelball courts and allows the Council to create rules and regulations by Resolution.

2024-10 Stormwater Revisions

This ordinance amends the Stormwater Chapter, as per the NJDEP.

2024-11 Business Zone Signs

This ordinance revises language pertaining to signage in the business zone.
