What size trash can may I have? Are there any restrictions?

Trash cans CANNOT exceed 32 gallons and 50 lbs. They must be secured with a watertight lid that is NOT fastened to the container.

What can I put in my recycling container?

Aluminum cans, glass containers, plastic, newspaper, junk mail, empty aerosol cans, mixed paper, office paper, and cardboard are all in the recycling container. Lids/CAPS ON. NO PLASTIC BAGS. Do not tie papers or cardboard.

When can I put my bulk trash out?

Bulk trash is picked up each week EXCEPT during holiday weeks. Place items at the curb on Tuesday night, and they will be picked up by Friday. The doors MUST be removed from all refrigerators and freezers.

What can I do with brush & clippings? And leaves?

Brush must be bundled and tied in 4-foot lengths or less, weighing no more than 40 lbs with limbs. Limbs cannot be more than 3.5 inches in diameter. Please put it at the curb for the following available collection. Please do not use paper bags to bag yard debris.

What about Construction Debris?

All wood must be no longer than 4 feet and bundled no more than 12 inches. All nails must be removed. Where a BUILDING PERMIT is required, the homeowner and the contractor are responsible for disposal.

Will my carpet be picked up?

Homeowners replacing the carpet in an established home must cut and tie the carpet into 4-foot bundles not weighing more than 40 lbs. Please put the bundles on the curb on Tuesday night for collection starting Wednesday morning.
