Zoning Permits

Construction Permit packages which require zoning may be submitted to the zoning officer Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4:30 pm.

The zoning permit fee is $75.

Fence permits

Fence Permits are $50 and may be submitted with a survey or a plat drawing indicating placement & height.

 

Curb, Driveway & sidewalk Permits

 Curb, Driveway & Sidewalk Permits are $50 

CURB PERMIT APPLICATION

  •  Please submit a survey or a plat drawing indicating length and placement. 
  •  Properties located on Long Beach Boulevard, Central Boulevard or North 9th are responsible for obtaining an Ocean County Road Opening Permit
  • Permit prior to the issuance of the Surf City Curb Permit.

Resale Certificate of Occupancy

  • All inspections will be completed by the Zoning Officer during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4:30 pm.  
  •  Applications may be picked up at Borough Hall at any time during regular business hours. The cost for a Single-Family Dwelling is $75 and for a Duplex it is $150. Re-inspections are $25 each.
