Zoning Permits


  • Construction Permit packages which require Zoning may be submitted to the Zoning Officer Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4:30 pm.
  • The Zoning permit fee is $30. 

Fence permits


  • Fence Permits are $30 and may be submitted with a survey or a plat drawing indicating placement & height.

FENCE PERMIT APPLICATION

CURB, Driveway and sidewalk Permit


  •  Curb, Driveway & Sidewalk Permits are $30 (effective 5/17/2018)
  •  Please submit a survey or a plat drawing indicating length and placement. 
  •  Properties located on Long Beach Boulevard, Central Boulevard or North 9th are responsible for obtaining an Ocean County Road Opening Permitprior to the issuance of the Surf City Curb Permit.

Resale Certificate of Occupancy


  • All inspections will be completed by the Zoning Officer during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4:30 pm.  
  •  Applications may be picked up at Borough Hall at any time during regular business hours. The cost for a Single Family Dwelling is $50 and for a Duplex it is $100.
