COVID-19 INFORMATION 

The Borough of Surf City is closely monitoring recommendations of the County, State and National health organizations. Our offices are also working closely with County, State and National officials regarding the Corona Virus (COVID-19). Please continue to abide by the instructions given by health officials. 

If you have questions about Borough operations pertaining to the Executive Orders issued by Governor Murphy please contact our offices for the most up to date information.

Borough Hall is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. All persons may check in at the front office located at the entrance on Long Beach Boulevard. 

 

 

BOROUGH COUNCIL REMOTE MEETING INFORMATION

BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Surf City that the Council Meetings of the Borough for the year 2021 shall be held on any Wednesday of each month and will be conducted on a remote platform called GoTo Meeting. All attendees are asked to mute their phones until the open public comment portion of the meeting.

All regular business shall be addressed on the second Wednesday of each month commencing at 7:30 p.m., with exceptions.  Action may or may not be taken. The agenda and documents relevant to the remote meetings will be made available at www.surfcitynj.org/savethetrip. Any persons with questions or comments for the  public comment portion of the meeting may submit them to the Borough Clerk no later than 4:30 pm, on the day of the scheduled meeting by emailing frontdesk@surfcitynj.org. All persons will have the opportunity to be heard during the public comment portions of the meeting. Any questions about this process should be directed to (609)494-3064.

LAND USE BOARD REMOTE MEETING INFORMATION 

The regular scheduled meetings of the Land Use Board of the Borough of Surf City shall be held at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month, except in cases of legal holidays or for other reasons when the meeting date may be hereinafter set forth. The public may only participate at such times as set forth in the agenda of the meeting or at the discretion of the presiding officer or chairperson. All meetings will be conducted on a remote platform called GoTo Meeting. Further notice will be given in the event in person meetings are permitted to resume. All attendees are asked to mute their phones until the open public comment portion of the meeting.
